WENDI LEIGH EXHIBITION – JULY:
Wendi’s work features wonderful light filled interiors and exteriors that trace quiet passing encounters usually with birds. These moments demonstrate the connection between humans and nature and how such a brief wildlife visit can leave an emotional impression on the viewer. Interiors and exteriors become spaces of pause, where the presence of magpies and cockatoos marks time not in permanence, but in delicate, passing encounters.
NEW KATE SMITH’S ARTWORKS HAVE ARRIVED:
Kate Smith, now in her 79th year is still producing her fascinating women captured in lushly coloured pastels.
Kate’s imagination gives us an insight into femininity and womanhood, sometimes glamorous, sometime sultry and indifferent but always arresting.
Lots more to see at Seaview Gallery.
Open daily 10.30 – 4.30 pm (Closed Tuesdays & Wednesdays).
