Next time you’re looking to fill your leisure time and your senses, jump in the car and click into drive heading straight for the magnificent Bellarine Peninsula. So one town at a time, each and every one offering it’s own unique and individual feel.

As you drive into Queenscliff there is a real sense of past. You would be forgiven while admiring the historical architecture of many of the homes and buildings of imagining just what the day to day used to represent rewinding 100 or so years back. Be sure to visit Fort Queenscliff for a further step through history back to 1860 and a fantastic example of one of the largest and best-preserved forts in Australia. There is amazing history to explore, whilst enjoying delightful ocean views. A must do experience for young and old alike.

Perhaps a sail on the high seas on Searoad Ferries is more your preference as Queenscliff is the gateway to reaching the Mornington Peninsula by sea and enjoying some stunning views, potential dolphin sightings and A1 onboard coffee. But be sure to head back as there is so much more to explore…
