Savour the flavour – Tastes of Greater Geelong
20 June – 20 July
This extraordinary region of ours is one of Australia’s most renowned food, beverage, and hospitality destinations. Between 20 June and 20 July be prepared to celebrate, delight and discover all things local ‘tastes.’ Presented by the City of Greater Geelong, the iconic Tastes of Greater Geelong food festival rolls out a plethora of irresistible gastronomic events and offerings, that you will simply not be able to resist.
At the helm of this annual showcase and proudly flying the flag for this event, is Tastes 2025 Ambassador Lyndsay Sharp. Lyndsay has been deeply immersed in all things hospitality locally since 2007, launching Leura Park Estate. This was then followed in 2010 with the opening of Jack Rabbit Vineyard. In 2014, Flying Brick Cider Co proudly opened its doors, with a reimagined Curlewis Golf Club and The Range soon following in 2015, and Curlewis Golf Club accommodation and the stunning Claribeaux Restaurant, being the latest ventures.
Lyndsay is thrilled and privileged to be involved in this year’s event and believes that it: ‘perfectly shines a spotlight on artisan producers and suppliers, restaurants, cafés, winemakers, distillers, and brewers. It provides an exciting opportunity for many operators to trial innovative concepts and forge dynamic collaborations. Patrons inherently become part of a lovely, engaging ‘vox pop’ journey of the senses. Hospitality operators are also grateful for the opportunity to be nurtured and showcased like this’.
‘It’s incredibly exciting to see the event go from strength to strength, with the City of Greater Geelong team doing an amazing job in curating and promoting the event. The timing couldn’t be better either. What better way to combat the cold winter weather than by being immersed in so many outstanding epicurean experiences and indulging in a month-long feast for the senses.’
