Since 2001, The Rock Adventure Centre has been Geelong’s vertical obsession. Located on the banks of the beautiful Barwon River in Newtown at the end of Pakington Street, they are proud to have celebrated their 17th birthday party last year and are still going strong, offering both locals and visitors to Geelong an exciting and fun adventure to be shared with family and friends.
The Rock is open to the public from 12pm, seven days a week. Rock climbing is an ideal activity for the whole family to enjoy together and their professional instructors are always available to show beginners the ropes.
Parents can relax with a coffee while the kids experience the thrill of climbing during their supervised holiday sessions, these climbing sessions run from 2-4pm each weekday over the holidays. Bookings are recommended.
During the school term the Rock offers a Climb-it Club for primary aged kids. Two sessions of structured and supervised climbing and training per week, working up to the end of term 'Outdoor Trip', to test out their skills on the local cliffs.
There is also a great range of birthday party packages available and group bookings are welcome.
River end at the rear of 403 Pakington St, Newtown.
