A perfect start to your sewing future and a great accessory to keep your keys in one place.
What you need:
A strip of fabric (10x30cm)
1 x Iron on Parlan (2.5x30cm)
1x25mm Key Fob
Iron Parlan onto the middle of the wrong side of fabric. Fold edges over to meet the edges of the Parlan. Then fold the right side over the Parlan and then fold the left side over. You should now have a strip that is 2.5cm x 30cm long with no raw edges visible. Topstitch each edge and stitch more straight lines in the middle to embellish.
Fold in half and place the keyfob over the raw ends. Press fob together and use flat pliers to secure in place. Now place the ring onto the fob to hold your keys in place.
If you are feeling a little more adventurous with your sewing project, Heights Sewing Centre have a fantastic Shoulder Carry Bag project.
