Saturday 14 March – 10am-3pm
The GBC Autumn Festival has fast become one of Geelong's best community events that delights and surprises all that attend.
Children and family will enjoy live entertainment from The Mik Maks as well as the much loved AFL Mascot, Half Cat. There will also be an animal nursery, plaster fun-house, book stall, white elephant, plant stalls, chocolate stalls, food stalls, rides and a huge array of amazing Silent Auction prizes from local businesses.
The food stalls include Gyros wraps, donuts, homemade lemonade, as well as a traditional Aussie BBQ and Devonshire Teas. The slushies and fairy floss stalls are always a popular choice as well as the homemade cakes, jams and preserves.
Kids and adults alike can fill the afternoon with live music, face painting, plaster fun painting, side show alley, a jumping castle and much more. Little ones will delight in the nursery of animals, while big kids will ride with endless fun on the ever-impressive Tea-Cup ride, Music Trip, a rock climbing wall, and dodgem cars. $25 will give kids unlimited rides or pay-per -ride is also available.
Car connoisseurs will not want to miss Geelong's biggest car show of 2020, the All Holden Day Car Club event. This is a free event featuring the Holden FX-HZ Holden Car Club.
There is also a great selection of pre-loved books and clothes, and amazing finds at the trash ‘n’ treasure. Guests will fill their tummies with great food, and market lovers can get their fix with high-quality, fresh produce.
We thank our GBC families and friends who contribute to make the event possible and turning Geelong Baptist College into a festival for one autumn day of the year.
