The Bellarine Railway is pleased to announce that the Heritage Train Service will recommence on Tuesday 2 July 2019. The railway line was closed over June for Drysdale Bypass road project, The Point land development works and internal track replacement.
Following delays due to the wet weather that we have received, they are now able to return just in time for the school holidays.
A new timetable has been introduced along with names for each of the trips - a practice railways have done since the 1920's
Trains depart Queenscliff: 10.45am, 2.15pm & 3.30pm;
Trains depart Drysdale: 12.00pm & 4.35pm
On-line tickets went on sale this morning yesterday for their operating days over the school holiday period. They will also be available (unless sold out prior) from Queenscliff and Drysdale Stations on the train running days: 2, 4, 7, 9, 11 & 14 July 2019.
Dazzling Dan the Magic Man will also be on-board for a Magic Show and Workshop on 9 July – 10.45am service.
