The Eastern Hub Geelong features plenty of ongoing activities for you to try your hand at in the month of May.
Rosemary Gador’s famous Introductory Italian takes place every Thursday night from 2 May. Learn this extremely useful language under Rosemary’s guidance and use it in everyday conversation or perhaps when travelling overseas.
The Hub’s Community Kitchen also returns on 2 May. The Walking Group takes off every Friday this month beginning on 3 May, while the Hub’s Food Swap and Craft Market take place on 4 May, recurring the first Saturday of every month.
Ever wanted to learn the ukulele but aren’t sure how? The Eastern Hub’s Ukelele Group convene each fortnight on a Thursday. Get down to the Hub on either 7 May or 21 May to strum along in song.
In the Rachinger Gallery, Dan Hunter’s exhibition Confused Reality runs until 4 May, before genU’s annual artX competition is showcased for the remainder of the month. This brilliant display of art takes in works from around the Geelong region created by people living with a disability or having had a history of mental health.
