Retirement should be a reward for everything a person has worked for, including a home exactly as they want it.
Jacqueline Cameron, Head of Retirement Living at Sencia agrees. “Many people see their retirement as a chance to reward themselves and they won’t compromise on quality. They want to retire where they’ve always wanted to live.”
Located five minutes from Queenscliff and 25 minutes from Geelong, Sencia’s development, The Breeze Point Lonsdale, is a new retirement community on the Bellarine Peninsula. The location, combined with a choice of five floor plans, will enable residents to retire according to what they value, Cameron says.
“For some retirement means downsizing so you’re not having to clean too many bathrooms. Or if you live a hectic life, then maybe you want to prioritise downtime and the opportunity to relax. It might even be about more space, which is also offered. Other people might want to focus on their wellbeing and engage in the activities they love”.
Villa floorplans have been architecturally designed, with expertly selected interiors. “We’re not offering upgrades to our homes because there’s no need,” Cameron says. “As standard we’re putting in Miele kitchen appliances, timber floors and 100 per cent wool carpet.” All villas come with two or three bedrooms and have covered patios so that residents can make the most of indoor-outdoor living.
The Waterside Pavilion will provide the focal point of The Breeze. This club-style centre will overlook a four-lane bowling green and surrounding waterways. Beautifully appointed private dining rooms and lounge areas give residents more flexibility as they are designed to be used for both cosy chats and larger functions.
Residents are expected to be able to move in from August 2019. “Whatever your version for your retirement, you’ll find it at The Breeze.”
