With dozens of short courses available on campus and many more available online, there’s an extensive range of new skills to learn at The Gordon. Whether you’re thinking about building on your existing talents or learning something completely new, there’s a short course for you.
Classic & Contemporary Floral Design Workshop (19 June) is ideal for those with basic floristry know-how, and will take your flower arranging skills to the next level. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn tips and tricks from the professionals.
The always-popular Espresso Master Class (3 July) is running as a three-class workshop, or you can book any of the classes as separate day-long workshops if you prefer. Limited spots are available, so book early to avoid disappointment.
For those looking to combine their creative skills with their love of cars, there are a couple of great hands-on auto short courses offered in July. Panel Beating (24 July) and Spray Painting (24 July) are both 8-week introductory courses held at The Gordon’s East Campus.
If you’re running your own small business, and would like to learn about managing a website, the Small Business DIY Website course (23 July) might be just what you need. The class will introduce you to basic skills to create your own site using Wordpress, and link it to your social media feeds.
The Gordon also runs dozens of Nationally Recognised Training short courses through its Industry Skills Training Centre at the East Geelong Campus. Courses include but are not limited to: Traffic Control (27 June), Work Safely at Heights (18 June), Construction Induction Card (28 June) and Confined Space Entry - Refresher (4 July).
