The 2020 Geelong Highland Gathering will be held this year at Osborne Park, Swinburne Street, North Geelong.
The 2020 Geelong Highland Gathering will mark 163 years since the very
first event was held on New Year’s day in 1858 and will be the 63rd event in the modern era, which begun in 1958.
The 2020 Gathering will stage the South Pacific Heavy Scottish Games
Championships. There will also be a Scottish Faire Market as well as children`s activities, demonstrations, a car display and Scottish food and even Scottish dog breeds. Other attractions include the 42nd Highlanders Regiment Re Enactment Group, Long Sword demonstrations, Clan and Heritage tents. A highlight of the day will be the massed pipe bands at the end of the day`s activities.
