Queen of the West Geelong’s Biggest Beer Garden!
Queen of the West is about to go full Bavarian. From Friday 16 to Sunday 18 October, Queen of the West will be putting on a huge Oktoberfest event in their beer garden.
The main event is on Saturday 17 October from 12pm to 5pm (18+), featuring German beer, live music, pretzels, pork knuckles, bratwurst rolls and currywurst. There will be competitions for the Longest Stein Hold ($200 prize), Best Dressed ($250 prize), pretzel toss and yodelling.
Then from 7pm, the beer garden will transform into a German Techno party (free event).
Sunday is Oktoberfest for the whole family (12pm to 5pm), with face painting, a jumping castle, pretzel rod races, Bavarian yard games and live music. Pull out the lederhosen or dirndl and book your tickets while you still can.
Tickets are limited, and can be purchased through Eventbrite or the What’s On tab on Queen’s website.
