Come and support the 2026 annual Hope Bereavement Care’s SPAN walk being held in alignment with World Suicide Prevention Day. It brings the opportunity to family, friends and the community to walk together and show their support for those bereaved by suicide as well as increase suicide awareness.

Location: Eastern Park (pavilion behind the Geelong Botanic Gardens, on the bay side)
The Suicide Prevention Awareness Network (SPAN) group was started by a group of affected family members, concerned community members and health professionals working together to reduce the number of lives lost to suicide.
Suicide awareness is everyone’s responsibility and is a subject that must be talked about openly and sensitively.
SPAN works tirelessly to make a difference.
