The Festival of Glass is here again on Sunday 25 August showcasing all forms of glass art (sculptural, wearable & functional) across the full spectrum of hot and cold glass techniques (e.g. flamework, studio/furnace glass, kiln formed glass, etching, stained glass, leadlight, mosaics and beadwork).
The Festival of Glass Incorporated will curate a variety of events to promote and celebrate glass art. Showcasing glass in all its diversity and featuring Australian artists. The Expo will feature a range of glass related activities, such as glass art for sale, free glass art demonstrations a treasure hunt, a raffle, participate in a glass trail and you may even get an opportunity to design your own small glass creation to take home.
The Festival of Glass Inc has been granted charity status and is supported by a range of local artists, businesses, and community groups.
