Bring the Family Along for a Truckin’ Good Time!
On Sunday, 23 February over 200 trucks will undertake a 40km journey throughout the streets of Geelong for Camp Quality Convoy Geelong, an event raising funds to support kids and families impacted by cancer.
Beckley Park will be transformed into a FREE Family Festival from 10.30am – 1.30pm, where the community can cheer on the trucks as they cross the finish line and check them out up close at the ‘Show and Shine’.
The festival will be packed with entertainment, experiences and catering for kids and adults alike; including food trucks, rides, photobooths, face painting, roving entertainment by the Camp Quality Puppets, Emergency Services Displays, music, fundraising awards to recognise the amazing efforts of those involved and of course the opportunity to check out all the fancy, sparkly trucks!
For those who can’t make it to the festival, but still want to support the truckers, check out the Convoy route on the website to find out where you can setup your cheer station. Pom-Poms, signage and plenty of waves are welcome!
Through Convoy Geelong, Camp Quality is aiming to raise $250,000. Camp Quality brings positivity, fun and laughter back into the lives of kids facing cancer through programs and services that help build optimism and resilience through community and education.
Bring the family down to Camp Quality Convoy Geelong for what promises to be a truckin’ good time in support of a good cause.
