It’s not often you can sit down to dine with the likes of James Dean, David Bowie, Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe, Raquel Welch, Princess Dianna and even the Queen gazing down at you. The Elephant & Castle Hotel has established itself as one of Geelong’s major attractions and is home to one of the country’s most prized photographic collections: “Images of Our Time”. Locally born, former Mayor, Darryn Lyons has opened up his private collection which features over 120 iconic photographs adorning the walls of the bistro and function rooms.
