2019 has been an absolute ball so far, with more and more passengers heading on board to explore the journey across the waters. The service provides a fabulous outing for day trippers and regular commuters, and Port Phillip Ferries are witnessing heaps of senior’s groups taking advantage of the mid-week services.
Their packages and experiences have been incredibly popular with opportunities for people to book a complete package to enjoy one of the many great venues on the Bellarine. Melbourne visitors and residents have been cruising across to have lunch at wineries like Terindah Estate, Basils Farm and other delicious places like the incredible Q Train and The Whiskery.
Head in the other direction and cruise to Melbourne for a big city adventure. Port Phillip Ferries have also got some great offers with Sebel Docklands and Peppers Docklands, if you want to crash the night in the big smoke. For the foodies, this is the way to travel. Get off at Docklands, hop on a tram and head straight for the city centre for all the top eateries... and bars too. As you step off the ferry you can get straight onto the free CBD tram network. No Myki card needed.
Port Phillip Ferries are most looking forward to commencing services to Geelong later in 2019. This will involve two return services, directly between Geelong and Docklands, 365 days of the year. Keep watching them for news on commencement of these services.
