Another Big Winner at Raiders Bingo
Another Raiders Bingo player had a big win of $55,000 recently, just 6 weeks after a player also won $50,000 on a Bingolink game. A total of $105, 000 has now been won at Raiders Bingo Centre over the past months on Bingolink games. The recent winner, a 24 year old woman who wishes to remain anonymous, was understandably excited with the win. Never in her wildest dreams did she think she would win such a large amount of money playing bingo.
The Bingolink major winner is getting married next year and the money will be put to good use.
For your chance at having your dreams come true; Raiders Bingo Centre has bingo 7 days a week with two sessions daily.
Bingolink games are played twice a week.

Dinosaurs Now Hatching at the Museum!
National Wool Museum Geelong

Now showing at the National Wool Museum
is without doubt the largest dinosaur exhibition ever to have visited Geelong. Titled Hatching the Past, this blockbuster show provides a rare and exciting look at the life of dinosaurs.
Visitors can touch actual dinosaur bones and reconstructed nests, dig for dinosaur eggs and experience hands-on fun and learning. This amazing exhibition features around 150 dinosaur egg casts, 15 complete articulated dinosaur cast skeletons as well as some life-sized dinosaur models.
A specially designed kids activity trail invites children to become ‘dinosaur detectives’ as they explore key questions throughout the exhibition. For our youngest visitors there is also a dinosaur dig sandpit, dinosaur dress-ups, puzzles and a dino library.
There’s even some live hatching going on with our baby chicken display!
Entry to the exhibition is just $7.30 for adults, $5.90 for concessions, $3.65 for children and students and $20 for families (2 adults and up to 4 children). Entry price includes admission to the entire Museum and is valid all day, so visitors are welcome to come and go throughout the day. Hatching the Past – Dinosaur Eggs and Babies

Opening at the National Wool Museum on Saturday 20 September is without doubt the largest dinosaur exhibition ever to have visited Geelong. Titled Hatching the Past, this blockbuster show promises to be a major attraction for locals and tourists alike.
Hatching the Past is a captivating experience for people of all ages. Visitors can touch actual dinosaur bones and reconstructed nests, dig for dinosaur eggs and experience hands-on fun and learning. This amazing exhibition features around 150 dinosaur egg casts, 15 complete articulated dinosaur cast skeletons as well as some life sized dinosaur models.
The exhibition showcases an extraordinary collection of fossilized eggs from each of the major plant and meat eating dinosaur groups. Collected from all over the world, the fossils include a bowling ball-sized egg of a titanosaur from Argentina and the longest dinosaur eggs ever discovered - those of the oviraptor, a carnivorous, ostrich-like dinosaur discovered in Central China.
Featured in the exhibition is the nearly complete skeleton cast of a dinosaur embryo found by Hatching the Past creator Charlie Magovern. Nicknamed ‘Baby Louie’ after National Geographic photographer Louie Psihoyos, the discovery was made in 1993 when palaeontologists were cleaning a large block of eggs from China.
Hatching the Past: Dinosaur Eggs & Babies is a travelling exhibition produced by StoneCompany.com in association with Gondwana Studios.
Entry to the exhibition is just $7.30 for adults, $5.90 for concessions, $3.65

Winner Best Fine Dining – Oakdene
Using techniques pioneered by names such as Troisgros, Bocuse, Robuchon, Blumenthal, Adria and Keller is a brave move for a kitchen in the backblocks of the Bellarine. But it pays off. The kitchen outputs dishes of great complexity, interest and elegance. The ingredients reflect a passion for regionality & seasonality and the proud declarations of provenance showcases a kitchen hell-bent on engaging with local suppliers of first-rate produce.
Where ingredients can't be source locally, e.g. the salt bush lamb, the produce is selected from highly reputable suppliers of the finest quality product. The menu is seductively crafted to complement the estate wines and shows a deep understanding of flavour and texture profiles, this is a first rate regional dining experience. Mixing it with some of Victoria's best.
Highly Commended Best Fine Dining – Riviera
Sensationally uncomplicated dishes from daily lunch specials to a more refined dinner menu. Simple, Mediterranean style, no fuss just a complete emphasis on wringing every drop of flavour out of the ingredients. This venue displays all the hallmarks of becoming a contender of the highest level.

An all round level of professionalism. This venue shows a level
of service which could show some of the “big city” venues how
it is done.
