 More attractive Ferry prices, so get onboard
Searoad Ferries have simplified their fare structure and ticket pricing in a move that will benefit many users of the Queenscliff – Sorrento Ferry Service. This will assist in choosing the Ferry over the tedious battle of city traffic around the bay.
The new fares include concession discounts for both foot and car passengers, infants and bicycles travel free of charge, family ticket prices, and discount return travel. All vehicle prices will include the driver and there are further discounts when booking online. Customer’s who regularly utilize the service can receive further discounts of up to 35% by joining the Searoad Ferries membership program.
The new one way price for a car including the driver travelling between Sorrento and Queenscliff has now been reduced to $55 or $53 online. The new family pass – 2 adults and up to 3 children – is only $30 for foot passengers one way.
CEO, Matt McDonald says: “For far too long our fare structure has been cumbersome and complicated. In listening to our customers both directly and through customer surveys, the overwhelming feedback was in the key areas we have addressed: concession discounts, family ticket prices, discount on return travel and the driver included in the car price. We are soon launching a “local resident’s card” which will offer discounts for locals.”
In addition to the low fares, passengers can now experience many new changes including fresh espresso coffee, WiFi and upgraded passenger facilities.
